Description:
The Technical Writer Is Responsible For Generating Innovative Content Ideas While Working Both Independently And Collaboratively As Part Of A Technical Team Supporting Both Networking And Computing Disciplines. The Position Researches Products, Services, Technology Or Concepts To Be Documented And Easily Understood By A Broad Audience From Engineers To Executives.
Some Technical Writer Duties And Responsibilities:
- Determine The Clearest And Most Logical Way To Present Information For Greatest Reader Comprehension.
- Generate innovative ideas for content, process and technical solutions.
- Produce, edit, and format technical presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
- Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
- Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
- Participate in project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
Required Skills:
- PMP Certification
- Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs, and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.

- Coordinate with IT business owners, customers, consultants, and other USPS IT stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and guidance in order to ensure timely completion, testing, publishing, and reporting for compliance of assigned documentation;
- Support the writing of templates and ad hoc reports;
- Facilitate, coordinate and manage communication of issues
- Provide written weekly status updates to include timeline, risks and challenges.
Preferred Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity of technology related to networking and server environments
- Familiarity of Agile methods.

As a data engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the core integrations into our platform—and help build on the framework that keeps all these integrations together. You’ll work mostly with a codebase written in C# and MSSQL.
